GOCI served as the Construction Manager for our newest elementary school construction project, Ronald Reagan Elementary School. This multi-prime project was a tremendous success. The school was completed on time, on budget, and the workmanship was outstanding. Additionally, GOCI successfully selfperformed a few of the bid packages. From design engineering to hammering the last nail, GOCI staff members were available, responsive, and most importantly honest in all of their work. Their joint efforts with the District's design team made this project one of true collaboration resulting in a beautiful school campus and a long lasting, positive relationship.

What do I think of Greg Opinski Construction? I think the smartest decision the Board has made in the area of facility modernization and new construction was hiring Greg Opinski Construction. We brought them on board in the spring of 2004. They were hired as our CM at risk to help us with the projects we had planned for the 2004 summer break. We were having problems with the bids being much higher than anticipated and time was running out. We thought we would not be able to afford all that we had planned. When Greg Opinski Construction was hired they immediately went to work on obtaining new bids. After a very short time we had bids that were more in line with our cost estimates, allowing us to do all the projects. We were also reasonably confident that we would be able to complete the work on schedule. On one bid alone, Greg Opinski Construction was able to negotiate a decrease from $600,000 to $380,000. Not only did they save us money on the bids, they managed to successfully complete all of our summer projects either on schedule or ahead of schedule. The site administrators were extremely thankful for the timely completion and minimal disruptions to their schools. The quality of work done by Greg Opinski Construction was outstanding.
Working with Greg has been a pleasure. It's nice to work with someone who tells you the truth, even when it may not be what you want to hear, and takes pride in what he does. We have a relationship of trust and respect. Greg Opinski Construction has become part of our team. They currently are working with· us on a new school that will be opening in the fall of 2007. Greg has provided exceptional input and insight into the development and design of this new school.
